-In line #4 the `original' lacks a stem in the same aya which is

-In line #1 sin or sad occurs in the `original' of Q6:91
whereas the letter kha is in the modern version. Also in line #1 we find
mim in the `original' but ha in the modern version.

Kita dapat melacak sejarah versi2 alquran dari usaha Usman dalam
melakukan "penyeragaman" alquran, karena waktu itu rupanya telah ada beberapa
versi alquran. Karena itu, usman membakar seluruh versi alquran yang tidak ia
sukai. Untuk apa usman membakar alquran versi
lain itu? Mengapa ia begitu berani melakukannya? (Usman sendiri akhirnya
mati terbunuh)
Menurut Father Zakaria ( http://www.fatherza karia.net ), pada Islamic encyclopedia yang
diterbitkan antara 1913 dan 1936, bagian 26 halaman 8175 menyatakan bahwa:
Masih menurut
Father Zakaria, total ada 31 versi Alquran, yang kebanyakan telah dibakar Usman.
Abdullah Ibn Masoud bahkan menolak memberikan versi Alquran yang dimilikinya
untuk diserahkan kepada Usman untuk dibakar.
Alquran, dalam bentuknya yang sekarang ini adalah
tidak lebih sekedar hasil standarisasi yang baru dilakukan tahun 1924 dengan
menggunakan edisi Mesir, dan merupakan upaya standarisasi alquran yang paling
berhasil. Sebelumnya, telah terjadi juga berbagai upaya standarisasi
alquran yang dilakukan oleh para Khalifah dan penguasa Muslim, namun tingkat
keberhasilannya tidak sehebat standarisasi versi Mesir ini, karena sudah
didukung oleh media cetak modern.
Selain mempunyai banyak versi, Alquran
juga memiliki perbedaan bentuk/tulisan. Contoh perbedaan tulisan bisa dilihat

Jadi, ternyata Alquran itu memiliki banyak versi, bukan cuma satu
seperti yang selama ini di klaim banyak muslim. Dan versi2 itu, justru telah ada
pada jaman muhammad sendiri. Bentuk Alquran juga telah mengalami
perubahan/penambaha n dalam perjalanan sejarahnya.
